Therapy can be a place to slow down, listen more closely, and reconnect with yourself.
Eating disorders and body image distress can make it difficult to hear your own voice. Therapy can be a place to slow down, listen more closely, and become curious about the patterns that have shaped you. Together, we can honor how those patterns may have helped you survive while exploring where they may no longer be serving you. I understand eating disorders within the context of the whole person—including identity, relationships, culture, lived experience, and the systems that have shaped how you see yourself and your body. My approach is relational, weight-inclusive, and grounded in curiosity rather than shame. I also draw from creative and experiential practices when words alone are not enough.
The work is not about becoming someone new. It is about strengthening your connection to yourself, making room for more of who you already are, and finding new ways of relating to food, your body, and the world around you. You don’t have to do that work alone. I take an active role in the therapeutic process — engaging wholeheartedly, meeting you where you are, and offering a steady, attuned presence as we make sense of your experiences and support new ways of being in your life and relationships.
